Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the fell 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.99% or 1.62 points to trade at 17.84 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) added 8.29% or 8.60 points to end at 112.40 and Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (TADAWUL:) was up 6.42% or 1.34 points to 22.22 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etihad Etisalat Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 3.30% or 1.55 points to trade at 45.35 at the close. National Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:) declined 2.85% or 0.90 points to end at 30.70 and Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:) was down 2.62% or 3.80 points to 141.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 144 to 112 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; up 8.29% or 8.60 to 112.40. Shares in Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (TADAWUL:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 6.42% or 1.34 to 22.22.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.10% or 0.78 to $70.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.08% or 0.81 to hit $74.17 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 4.60 to trade at $2,015.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.60% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.65% at 102.53.
