A major reformer at Marathon Petroleum Corp’s 625,000 b/d Galveston Bay, Texas, refinery is expected to restart in mid-November as repair work is currently underway following a deadly fire in May, Chief Financial Officer Maryann Mannen said on Tuesday.
“In the Gulf Coast, with respect to the Galveston Bay reformer, repairs have progressed as planned, we anticipate starting the unit back up in mid-November,” Mannen said during the company’s third-quarter earnings conference call.
