Job postings for white-collar jobs decreased the most in the first quarter of this year compared with the same period last year, the employment website Indeed said this week.
The biggest drop, 55%, was in postings for software development, according to the job site, which does not disclose its total number of listings but is considered among the leading employment websites. Next were postings for banking and finance jobs, which fell 41%, then insurance-job postings, which declined 18.5%.
