Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Frankfurt, the gained 0.07%, while the index declined 0.39%, and the index fell 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the were E.ON SE (ETR:), which rose 0.98% or 0.11 points to trade at 11.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Beiersdorf AG O.N. (ETR:) added 0.88% or 1.05 points to end at 120.95 and Symrise AG Inh. O.N. (ETR:) was up 0.76% or 0.70 points to 93.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Covestro AG (ETR:), which fell 2.15% or 1.06 points to trade at 48.27 at the close. Continental AG O.N. (ETR:) declined 1.43% or 0.98 points to end at 67.40 and Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:) was down 1.25% or 4.40 points to 346.60.
The top performers on the MDAX were Stabilus (ETR:) which rose 1.92% to 49.78, Redcare Pharmacy NV (ETR:) which was up 1.40% to settle at 108.30 and Wacker Chemie O.N. (ETR:) which gained 1.15% to close at 132.10.
The worst performers were CTS Eventim AG (ETR:) which was down 1.93% to 55.95 in late trade, Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which lost 1.90% to settle at 34.38 and Evotec AG O.N. (ETR:) which was down 1.82% to 20.54 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Verbio Vereinigte Bioenergie AG (ETR:) which rose 2.64% to 41.57, ADTRAN Holdingsa Inc (ETR:) which was up 2.29% to settle at 7.52 and CompuGroup Medical AG O.N. (ETR:) which gained 1.17% to close at 41.66.
The worst performers were Nagarro SE (ETR:) which was down 2.67% to 74.60 in late trade, Siltronic AG (ETR:) which lost 1.96% to settle at 72.60 and Evotec AG O.N. (ETR:) which was down 1.82% to 20.54 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 327 to 298 and 115 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 2.32% to 16.83.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.43% or 8.45 to $1,938.65 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.54% or 0.43 to hit $79.48 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract rose 0.79% or 0.66 to trade at $84.02 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.07% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 104.07.
