Beowulf Mining said Wednesday that Chief Executive Officer Kurt Budge would step down from the company, effective immediately, to pursue other business interests.
The U.K.-based, Nordic-focused mining company said that Nonexecutive Chairman Johan Rostin has been named executive chairman and interim CEO until a permanent successor is appointed.
“The board is confident in this interim solution and [Mr. Rostin]’s ability to lead the company during this transitional period,” the company said.
