Advanced Emission Solutions said it named Robert Rasmus as chief executive officer, effective Monday.
The Greenwood Village, Colo.-based emissions control company said Rasmus would succeed Greg Marken.
The company said Rasmus previously founded and served as CEO of Hi-Crush, a logistics services provider for the fracking industry, from 2012 to 2020. He also served as managing partner of Red Oak Capital Management and as president of venture firm Thunderbold Capital.
Advanced Emission said Rasmus would receive a base salary of $50,000 and be eligible for a bonus of up to 200% of his salary.
Advanced Emission Solutions said Marken would continue to be employed by the company until his contract ends Aug. 28.
