Public Service Enterprise Swings to 1Q Profit as Generation Rev Rises

Public Service Enterprise Group swung to a first-quarter profit as revenue from the utility’s power-generation operations rose sharply.

The owner of New Jersey utility PSE&G posted a net profit of $1.29 billion, or $2.58 a share, from a loss of $2 million, or less than 1 cent a share, a year earlier.
