Shares in DWF Group rose on Monday after the company said it is in talks with Inflexion Private Equity Partners regarding a possible acquisition of DWF for 342 million pounds ($439 million).
At 0944 GMT, shares were up 22.90 pence, or 35%, at 88.40 pence.
The provider of legal and business services said shareholders would receive a total consideration of 100 pence a share, comprising a 97 pence a share cash consideration and a dividend for the first fiscal half-year ended April 30 of 3 pence a share.
The total number of outstanding shares in DWF is 342 million.
