FSD Pharma said Tuesday co-founder Zeeshan Saeed has been elected chief executive of the biotechnology company, succeeding Anthony Durkacz who has held the role on an interim basis since July 2021.
Saeed, who has been president of FSD since 2019, was elected CEO in a unanimous vote at a meeting of the company’s board, FSD said.
Saeed and Durkacz, fellow co-founder of the company, will continue as executive co-chairmen.
