Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the added 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the were Jamjoom Pharmaceuticals Factory Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 15.77% or 12.30 points to trade at 90.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) added 9.91% or 1.94 points to end at 21.52 and Al Aseel Co Ltd (TADAWUL:) was up 9.90% or 0.52 points to 5.77 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:), which fell 3.21% or 0.60 points to trade at 18.10 at the close. BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (TADAWUL:) declined 3.17% or 0.64 points to end at 19.52 and Al Saif Stores for Development & Investment Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) was down 2.46% or 2.40 points to 95.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 148 to 118 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jamjoom Pharmaceuticals Factory Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; rising 15.77% or 12.30 to 90.30. Shares in Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.91% or 1.94 to 21.52. Shares in Al Aseel Co Ltd (TADAWUL:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.90% or 0.52 to 5.77.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.05% or 0.75 to $71.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.74% or 0.56 to hit $76.46 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 9.00 to trade at $1,938.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.13% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 102.14.
