Infrastructure-consulting firm AECOM said it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Ukraine to advise the government on reconstruction amid the war with Russia.
AECOM said it will partner with Ukraine’s Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development to establish a program-management approach to reconstruction. The company will also help the ministry with opportunities to bring in public and private investors in the reconstruction.
AECOM said it has signed a separate memorandum of cooperation with Ukraine’s State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure to estimate preliminary costs for some critical infrastructure projects.
“Through early engagement, a comprehensive programmatic approach, and global collaboration across governments and the private sector, we can work to restore and modernize Ukraine’s infrastructure,” AECOM Chief Executive Troy Rudd said.
