Societe Generale has appointed Vincent Mischler as chief strategy officer, handing him responsibility of the strategic steering of the group and the implementation of a new financial plan to be presented in September.
The French bank said Monday that Mischler’s appointment would be effective Aug. 24. He has been managing director at Citigroup since 2012 and carries more than 25 years’ experience as an investment banker.
