Electric vehicle charging company Invisible Urban Charging said Thursday it was working with real estate company Jones Lang LaSalle to roll out more EV chargers worldwide.
The deal will see JLL serve as Invisible Urban’s exclusive project management partner. JLL will provide global installation capability through its network of electrical contractors, logistics, and signage partners, the companies said, adding all chargers will be connected to Invisible Urban’s proprietary core software platform.
Invisible Charging and JLL said by partnering with major property owners, they can facilitate on-site EV charging at scale, “helping meet the estimated demand for nearly 7 million chargers in the United States and Europe by 2030.”
Invisible Urban said it plans to deploy over 80,000 EV chargers across the U.S. and Europe over the next 12-18 months.
The companies also said they have deployed banks of chargers in Florida, Arizona, Illinois, and Georgia.
