Athena Consumer Acquisition on Monday said its board extended its deadline to complete an initial business combination a fifth time by an additional month.
The special purpose acquisition company said the deadline is now June 22. The extension is the fifth of six potential one-month extensions.
In connection with the extension, Athena Consumer Acquisition Sponsor deposited nearly $113,000 into the blank check company’s trust account.
