Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:), which rose 7.50% or 8.80 points to trade at 126.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (TADAWUL:) added 6.60% or 1.90 points to end at 30.70 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) was up 6.44% or 7.20 points to 119.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AlJazira Mawten REIT (TADAWUL:), which fell 3.38% or 0.64 points to trade at 18.30 at the close. Jabal Omar Development Company (TADAWUL:) declined 3.36% or 0.82 points to end at 23.62 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:) was down 2.71% or 5.60 points to 201.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 154 to 96 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; gaining 7.50% or 8.80 to 126.20. Shares in Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; up 6.44% or 7.20 to 119.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.88% or 0.64 to $72.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.03% or 0.79 to hit $76.17 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.14% or 22.55 to trade at $1,962.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.51% to 4.04, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 103.28.
