Data from analytics site Dune showed one pseudonymous trader with the Ethereum Name Service tag \u201chanwe.eth\u201d walked away with $12.1 million from the token giveaway.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">307.6M <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BLUR&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$BLUR<\/a> ($97.5M) airdrop is being claimed!<\/p>\n<p>hanwe.eth claimed 22.85M <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BLUR&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$BLUR<\/a>($7.26M) and machibigbrother.eth claimed 6M <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BLUR&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$BLUR<\/a>($1.9M).<\/p>\n<p>The top 10 wallets claimed 85.69M <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BLUR&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$BLUR<\/a>($27.25M), 28% of the total amount. <\/p>\n<p>Of which 9.3M <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BLUR&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$BLUR<\/a>($2.95M) has been deposited to the exchange. <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/3i2WhmxgDt\">pic.twitter.com\/3i2WhmxgDt<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Lookonchain (@lookonchain) <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/lookonchain\/status\/1726791487147618620?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 21, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This massive haul came out of Blur\u2019s total reward pool for Season 2. The NFT trading platform incentivizes use by dropping tokens to users at the end of each season. The rewards given vary based on factors like trading activity.<\/p>\n<h2>Blur Airdrop Rewards Big Spenders in Season 2 NFT Trading Frenzy<\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"replacer\"><\/span><br \/>Blur has allocated 300 million tokens so far, with 38,000 addresses claiming their share of 267 million tokens. While some users expressed dissatisfaction with their rewards, \u201chanwe.eth\u201d scored big. Blur\u2019s growth seemingly prompted OpenSea to remove NFT royalty fees to stay competitive.<\/p>\n<p>Despite benefiting from Blur\u2019s rewards program, not all recipients are happy with the airdropped amounts. <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/machibigbrother\/status\/1726780578379510162\">NFT whale Machi Big Brother<\/a>, whose real name is Jeffrey Hwang, voiced frustration after receiving \u201conly\u201d $2.9 million worth of tokens.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to Blur\u2019s airdrop, Hwang rapidly sold and bought back over 1,000 NFTs. Some speculate this was an attempt to generate wash trades and profit from the seasonal rewards.
