There will be a free Champions drop at launch, per the FAQ page.<\/p>\n<p>According to the official website, a Warlord is a unique digital collectible that serves as a profile picture (PFP). Each one also gives its owner early access to the mint of the in-game playable figurines called Champions.<\/p>\n<p>Warlords come with 170 distinct traits, including armor, weapons, headgear, and more. As is common, some traits are more rare than others.<\/p>\n<p>Per the company,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOnly 9,999 Warlords will be minted!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ubisoft will keep 999 random Warlords in a Market Vault by Ubisoft for future giveaways, partnerships, and rewards, it said.<\/p>\n<p>It will give another 1,000 random Warlords to its partner, the <strong>Oasys<\/strong> blockchain, for its own community.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the company wrote that,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe 8,000 left will be up to grab by the community during the mint!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Should there be unclaimed Warlords at the end of the mint, they will be put in a Treasury Vault for future community rewards.<\/p>\n<p>To claim a Warlord, participants must have a Ubisoft account and a compatible wallet (<strong>Metamask<\/strong> or <strong>Face Wallet<\/strong>) with enough ETH to pay the fee.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of which, claiming a Warlord is free, but gas fees do apply.<\/p>\n<p>After minting a Warlord, owners will see a placeholder on the <strong>OpenSea<\/strong> marketplace or in the wallet due to \u201ca delayed Reveal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Reveal will happen after all Warlords have been minted or at the end of the Public Mint \u201cto ensure an equitable distribution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There will be two phases of the mint.<\/p>\n<p>The Private Mint will be accessible to users who were selected for the Dark List (Grim Guardians, OG Champions, and Champions) and will last 8 hours.<\/p>\n<p>A 24-hour public mint will follow, accessible to all, on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/p>\n<p>Per the FAQ, players can mint 2-4 Warlords depending on their user tier.<\/p>\n<p>During the Private Mint, Champions, OG Champions, and Grim Guard can mint up to 2, 3, and 4 Warlords, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Public mint participants can claim up to 2 Warlords.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWhile owning 1 Warlord provides early access to the Champions mint, having additional Warlords won\u2019t grant extra benefits in that regard.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Residents of several countries cannot play the game.<\/p>\n<p>These are Algeria, Bangladesh, Belarus, Burundi, China, Cuba, France, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Morocco, Nepal, North Korea, Myanmar, Qatar, Russia, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Crimea and Sevastopol, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions.<\/p>\n<div class=\"newsletter home-newsletter single\">\n<div class=\"left-side\">\n<p>\n        <em><br \/>\n            Enter your email for our Free Daily Newsletter        <\/em>\n    <\/p>\n<p> A quick 3min read about today&#8217;s crypto news!<\/p>\n<p>    <span class=\"response-msg\" id=\"newsletter-response\"><\/span>\n<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\n<br \/>Read the full article <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptonews.com\/news\/assassins-creed-creator-ubisoft-to-launch-free-ethereum-nft-event-for-champions-tactics.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Source: Champions Tactics \/ Twitter Gaming giant Ubisoft will hold a free Ethereum non-fungible token (NFT) mint for its upcoming game Champions Tactics.
