At the close in NYSE, the rose 0.01%, while the index added 0.13%, and the index added 0.08%.<\/p>\n

The best performers of the session on the were Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc (NASDAQ:), which rose 2.27% or 0.47 points to trade at 21.22 at the close. Meanwhile, American Express <\/span><\/span> Company (NYSE:) added 2.21% or 3.51 points to end at 162.56 and Caterpillar <\/span><\/span> Inc (NYSE:) was up 1.96% or 4.86 points to 253.07 in late trade.<\/p>\n

The worst performers of the session were Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:), which fell 1.68% or 6.32 points to trade at 369.85 at the close. Nike <\/span><\/span> Inc (NYSE:) declined 1.53% or 1.65 points to end at 105.96 and Amgen Inc <\/span><\/span> (NASDAQ:) was down 1.34% or 3.61 points to 265.39.<\/p>\n

The top performers on the S&P 500 were Ross Stores Inc <\/span><\/span> (NASDAQ:) which rose 7.22% to 128.82, Expedia <\/span><\/span> Inc (NASDAQ:) which was up 5.05% to settle at 136.38 and Albemarle <\/span><\/span> Corp (NYSE:) which gained 3.91% to close at 127.39.<\/p>\n

The worst performers were Applied Materials Inc (NASDAQ:) which was down 4.02% to 148.59 in late trade, CF Industries Holdings Inc (NYSE:) which lost 3.31% to settle at 77.46 and Molina Healthcare Inc <\/span><\/span> (NYSE:) which was down 3.30% to 353.31 at the close.<\/p>\n

The top performers on the NASDAQ Composite were Altamira Therapeutics Ltd (NASDAQ:) which rose 180.28% to 0.28, WANG & LEE GROUP Inc (NASDAQ:) which was up 95.85% to settle at 0.79 and Syntec Optics Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:) which gained 73.98% to close at 8.96.<\/p>\n

The worst performers were Vigil Neuroscience <\/span><\/span> Inc (NASDAQ:) which was down 40.03% to 4.00 in late trade, Onfolio Holdings <\/span><\/span> Inc (NASDAQ:) which lost 34.58% to settle at 0.54 and Evelo Biosciences <\/span><\/span> Inc (NASDAQ:) which was down 32.65% to 0.49 at the close.<\/p>\n

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the New York Stock Exchange by 2002 to 864 and 92 ended unchanged; on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 2317 rose and 1137 declined, while 132 ended unchanged.<\/p>\n

Shares in Ross Stores Inc (NASDAQ:) rose to 52-week highs; up 7.22% or 8.67 to 128.82. Shares in Expedia Inc (NASDAQ:) rose to 52-week highs; up 5.05% or 6.56 to 136.38. Shares in Vigil Neuroscience Inc (NASDAQ:) fell to 52-week lows; down 40.03% or 2.67 to 4.00. Shares in Onfolio Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:) fell to all time lows; falling 34.58% or 0.28 to 0.54. <\/p>\n

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.23% or 4.50 to $1,982.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 3.91% or 2.85 to hit $75.75 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 3.98% or 3.08 to trade at $80.50 a barrel.<\/p>\n

EUR\/USD was up 0.55% to 1.09, while USD\/JPY fell 0.70% to 149.66.<\/p>\n
