Not experiments. Not possibilities.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;An ETF getting approved could create a lot of capital flowing into the market,&#8221; <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bgarlinghouse?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@bgarlinghouse<\/a> tells CNBC&#8217;s <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dan_murphy?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@dan_murphy<\/a> as speculation mounts over a spot Bitcoin ETF approval in the United States. <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/zNtppijYBn\">pic.twitter.com\/zNtppijYBn<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 CNBC Middle East (@CNBCMiddleEast) <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CNBCMiddleEast\/status\/1722861645842825358?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 10, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Garlinghouse Mentions Prospects of Tokenization<\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"replacer\"><\/span><br \/>The crypto boss specifically mentioned the prospects of tokenization and its growing adoption.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">According to data\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">accumulated by rwa.xyz<\/span>, demand for tokenized Treasuries has sharply increased, reaching a staggering $750 million.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth noting that crypto firms and investment funds are showing interest in these products to benefit from higher government bond rates significantly, as the recent market downturn has negatively impacted yields in the crypto lending space.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the average yield for all tokenized Treasuries stands at 5.24%.<\/p>\n<p>As <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">reported<\/span>, experts anticipate the market capitalization of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) could balloon to as much as $10 trillion by the end of the decade.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">asset management firm\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Bernstein has estimated<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0that the size of the tokenization opportunity will reach $5 trillion over the next five years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Specifically, the firm forecasted a 2% penetration in currency and bank deposits, which could translate into a $2 trillion opportunity in the next five years.
