That has also resulted in the lowest bullish sentiment reading since May 18th.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall-full-content invisible\">\n<figure class=\"regular-img-figure paywall-full-content invisible\" contenteditable=\"false\"><picture> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ifintechworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/saupload_110223-AAII-1.png\" alt=\"AAII bullish sentiment\" contenteditable=\"false\" loading=\"lazy\"> <\/picture><figcaption><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall-full-content invisible\">That was matched with a rise in bearish sentiment back above 50%. That was the first time a majority of respondents reported as bearish since last December.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall-full-content invisible\">As shown in the second chart below, the 44 consecutive weeks without such a reading is sizeable, but far from any sort of record.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall-full-content invisible\">\n<figure class=\"regular-img-figure paywall-full-content invisible\" contenteditable=\"false\"><picture> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ifintechworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/saupload_110223-AAII-2.png\" alt=\"AAII bearish sentiment\" contenteditable=\"false\" loading=\"lazy\"> <\/picture><figcaption><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"regular-img-figure paywall-full-content invisible\" contenteditable=\"false\"><picture> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ifintechworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/saupload_110223-AAII-3.png\" alt=\"AAII bearish sentiment\" contenteditable=\"false\" loading=\"lazy\"> <\/picture><figcaption><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall-full-content invisible\">With new near-term lows in<span class=\"paywall-full-content no-summary-bullets invisible\"> bulls and highs in bears, the spread between the two widened to 26 points in favor of bears. That is the most negative bull-bear spread reading since March<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall-full-content invisible no-summary-bullets\">\n<figure class=\"regular-img-figure paywall-full-content invisible\" contenteditable=\"false\"><picture> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ifintechworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/saupload_110223-AAII-4.png\" alt=\"AAII bull-bear spread\" contenteditable=\"false\" loading=\"lazy\"> <\/picture><figcaption><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall-full-content invisible no-summary-bullets\">Other sentiment surveys echoed that negative tone among investors. The NAAIM Exposure Index was actually slightly higher week over week, although it continues to show low levels of long equity exposure.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall-full-content invisible no-summary-bullets\">Meanwhile, like the AAII Bull-Bear spread, the Investors Intelligence survey also indicated the most bearish reading since March.
