The XRP price has risen by 1% in the past 24 hours, climbing to $0.559752 as the market as a whole gains by 1.5% today.<\/p>\n

XRP is also up by 5% in a week and by 13% in the past fortnight, with the altcoin being one of many to benefit from last week\u2019s market-wide rally.<\/p>\n

And with the coin also having risen by 65% since the beginning of the year, it retains enough medium- and short-term momentum to rise again in the next few weeks.\n<\/p>\n

XRP Price Prediction as XRP Spikes Up 2.3% Suddenly \u2013 Time to Buy?<\/h2>\n

\nXRP remains in the middle of an upswing, one which hasn\u2019t finished playing out yet.<\/p>\n

Its 30-day moving average (yellow) has only recently begun rising towards its 200-day average (blue), meaning that there\u2019s still time before the current rally peaks.<\/p>\n

Likewise, XRP\u2019s relative strength index (purple) is rising once again towards 70, a few days after slipping a little to 60.<\/p>\n

This shows that investor sentiment remains bullish, and that further gains are likely in the near term.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also encouraging that the coin\u2019s 24-hour trading volume continues to hover around $850 million, after having been as low as $275 million in the middle of October.<\/p>\n

Again, this suggests that XRP remains in a growth stage, one which positivity regarding potential Bitcoin ETF approvals has caused.<\/p>\n

Belief in incoming ETF approvals has majorly improve overall sentiment, with investors becoming more positive about the long-term direction of the cryptocurrency market.<\/p>\n

This has fed into XRP, which has also benefitted from recent positivity surrounding the Ripple and SEC case.<\/p>\n

In particular, the past couple of weeks saw the SEC withdraw from a planned trial on the question of whether Ripple execs knowingly aided and abetted the cryptocurrency firm in its violation of securities laws.<\/p>\n

That the SEC has dropped this is a very positive sign for Ripple, with some commentators suggesting that the regulator now wants to settle with Ripple.<\/p>\n

Of course, negotiating the extent of a settlement penalty may take several more months, something which accounts for why XRP hasn\u2019t risen as strongly as it deserves.<\/p>\n

Yet the coin\u2019s fundamentals mean that, once the case completely ends next year, it will rally massively.<\/p>\n

So now remains a good time to buy the token at a discount, especially when the XRP price could rise back to $1 in 2024.\n<\/p>\n

Quicker Gains With Newer Altcoins<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\nBecause XRP is still waiting for the conclusion of all legal proceedings between the SEC and Ripple, it may not rally fully for several months.<\/p>\n

Traders looking for faster gains may prefer to look elsewhere therefore, with certain newer alts and presale tokens proving especially lucrative this year.<\/p>\n
