Stock futures rose slightly Tuesday as investors readied for the start of the two-day Federal Reserve meeting, at which the central bank is expected to hold steady on interest rates.<\/p>\n

These stocks were poised to make moves Tuesday:<\/p>\n

\n

U.S.-listed shares of
\n NIO
\n (ticker:
\n NIO
\n ) were down 5.4% in premarket trading after the Chinese electric-vehicle maker said it plans to raise $1 billion by issuing convertible senior notes. NIO said it plans to use a portion of the proceeds from the offering to pare its debt, with the remainder \u201cmainly to further strengthen its balance sheet position as well as for general corporate purposes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Moderna
\n (MRNA) rose 0.4% in premarket trading following a decline of more than 9% in the previous session after
\n Pfizer
\n \u2018s (PFE) chief financial officer predicted weaker demand for Covid shots this year.
\n Moderna
\n was the worst performer in the
\n S&P 500
\n on Monday. <\/p>\n

\n U.S. Steel
\n (X) issued fiscal third-quarter guidance that was better than expected. Shares of the steel maker rose 1.9% in premarket trading.
\n U.S. Steel
\n forecast adjusted earnings of $1.10 to $1.15 a share, beating analysts\u2019 estimates of $1.01. The steel producer said the guidance reflects the anticipated impact of the strike by the United Auto Workers.<\/p>\n

\n Rocket Lab
\n (RKLB) declined 26% in premarket trading after the space company said it \u201cexperienced an issue\u201d during the launch of its 41st mission. \u201cFollowing lift-off from Launch Complex 1, the rocket successfully completed a first stage burn and stage separation as planned, before an issue was experienced at around T+ 2 minutes and 30 seconds into flight, resulting in the end of the mission,\u201d
\n Rocket Lab
\n said in a statement. The company\u2019s next mission, scheduled before the end of the third quarter, will be postponed, Rocket Lab added.<\/p>\n

\n AutoZone
\n (AZO) fell 1.8% after the automotive replacement parts maker easily beat earnings and sales estimates for its fiscal fourth quarter but sales in the company\u2019s domestic commercial division came up short.<\/p>\n

\n CVS Health
\n (CVS) was upgraded to Outperform from In Line at Evercore ISI and the price target was raised to $83 from $81. CVS shares rose 0.9% to $71.35.<\/p>\n

\n Block
\n (SQ) declined 0.8% after it was announced that Alyssa Henry, the head of the company\u2019s Square payments platform, would be stepping down Oct. 2. Henry has been with Block for more than nine years. Jack Dorsey, who leads the overall Block business, will assume Henry\u2019s role, the company said in a filing Monday.<\/p>\n

\n Apogee Enterprises
\n (APOG) rose 6.5% after the architectural products and services company posted better-than-expected adjusted fiscal second-quarter earnings and raised its fiscal-year outlook.<\/p>\n

\n Rackspace Technology
\n (RXT) was up 8.1% to $1.60 after shares of the cloud-computing company were upgraded to Outperform from Market Perform at Raymond James with a price target of $3.50.<\/p>\n

Stitch Fix (SFIX) reported a 22% decline in fiscal fourth-quarter revenue as the online personal styling company saw its active client base fall to 3.3 million from 3.4 million in the previous quarter and 3.8 million a year earlier. The company said it expects first-quarter revenue of $355 million to $365 million, down 18% to 20% from a year earlier, and below analysts\u2019 estimates of about $402 million. Shares tumbled 8.2% in premarket trading. <\/p>\n
