LN)\u00a0Mead Johnson Nutrition, and<br \/>\n        Perrigo<br \/>\n      \u2018s\u00a0(PRGO)\u00a0Wisconsin unit. The FDA said it isn\u2019t aware of any confirmed cases of contaminated products being sold and doesn\u2019t advise avoiding or disposing of any specific formula. <\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n<p>The FDA\u2019s letter isn\u2019t associated with any current recalls, but reflect findings from inspections and past recalls by these facilities over the last several months. <\/p>\n<p>The letter brings back memories of the\u00a0shortages of formula that hit the U.S. last year after the country\u2019s largest manufacturer,<br \/>\n        Abbott Laboratories<br \/>\n       (ABT), shut down its Michigan plant. That came after the company\u00a0voluntarily recalled several lines of powdered formula as concerns about bacterial contamination mounted following the deaths of two infants.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Abbott Laboratories supplied roughly 44% of the formula to the market, while\u00a0<br \/>\n        Reckitt Benckiser Group<br \/>\n      \u00a0(RBGLY) supplied around a third, according to\u00a0Reuters.\u00a0Perrigo and\u00a0Nestl\u00e9\u00a0(NSRGY) made the rest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the last year the FDA has continued to increase our oversight of powdered infant formula facilities.
