After a sizzling summer, Hulu\u2019s slate of new releases is slightly less impressive in September 2023, though there should still be enough standouts to keep subscribers happy.<\/p>\n

The Emmy-nominated docuseries \u201cWelcome to Wrexham\u201d<\/strong> (Sept. 13) is back for its second season, following the trials and tribulations of an underdog Welsh soccer club owned by Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny. Season 1 was a fantastically entertaining, if at times self-serving, behind-the-scenes look at the team and its diehard fans. Season 2 follows Wrexham\u2019s 2022-\u201923 season, which \u2014 no spoilers (though you can check online) \u2014 should be even more dramatic. New episodes will stream a day after they air on FX.<\/p>\n

And Halloween may still be two months away, but Hulu is also going all-in on horror, with \u201cThe Other Black Girl\u201d<\/strong> (Sept. 13), a \u201cGet Out\u201d-like workplace thriller based on Zakiya Dalila Harris\u2019 novel\u00a0about a the only Black woman (Sinclair Daniel) working at a New York publishing house who believes she\u2019s found an ally in a new co-worker, only to discover something more sinister is afoot; \u201cAmerican Horror Story: Delicate, Part 1\u201d <\/strong>(Sept. 21), starring Emma Roberts, Kim Kardashian and Cara Delevigne in a story about an actress whose pregnancy takes a harrowing turn; and \u201cNo One Will Save You\u201d<\/strong> (Sept. 22), a horror movie starring Kaitlyn Dever as an anxiety-ridden woman whose home in invaded by aliens. A few notes on \u201cAHS: Delicate\u201d: New eps will stream a day after first airing on FX, Halley Feiffer takes over as showrunner from Ryan Murphy, and its second half will air sometime after the Hollywood strikes are resolved.<\/p>\n
