{"id":51480,"date":"2023-08-22T06:44:27","date_gmt":"2023-08-22T10:44:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ifintechworld.com\/markets\/etf-that-tracks-jim-cramers-stock-picks-to-close\/"},"modified":"2023-08-22T06:44:29","modified_gmt":"2023-08-22T10:44:29","slug":"etf-that-tracks-jim-cramers-stock-picks-to-close","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ifintechworld.com\/?p=51480","title":{"rendered":"ETF that tracks Jim Cramer\u2019s stock picks to close"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"js-article__body\" itemprop=\"articleBody\" data-sbid=\"WP-MKTW-0002424488\" role=\"document\">\n<p>An exchange-traded fund set up to buy stocks recommended by CNBC personality Jim Cramer will be closed and liquidated, its provider said Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Shares of the Long Cramer Tracker ETF<br \/>\n        LJIM<br \/>\n       will see their last day of trading on Cboe on Sept. 11, which will also be the last day the fund will accept creation units from authorized participants, Tuttle Capital Management said in a news release Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n<p>\u201cWe started LJIM in order to facilitate a conversation with Jim Cramer around his stock picks as the other side to the Short Cramer ETF<br \/>\n        SJIM<span>,<\/span><br \/>\n      \u201d said Matthew Tuttle, the fund\u2019s adviser, in the news release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnfortunately, Mr. Cramer and CNBC have been unwilling to engage in dialogue and instead have chosen to ignore the funds, therefore there is no reason to keep the long side going,\u201d Tuttle said. \u201cGoing forward we will just focus on the short side.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>CNBC didn\u2019t immediately respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>The Inverse Cramer ETF aims to achieve the inverse of Cramer\u2019s recommendations by going short anything he recommends buying and going long anything he doesn\u2019t like. The ETFs were launched in March.<\/p>\n<p>The Long Cramer ETF opened at $24.96 on March 2, according to FactSet. It surged in June and early July, closing at a high of $29.42 on July 19. It\u2019s retreated sharply in August, falling 12.1% so far this month, ending Monday at $25.79.<\/p>\n<p><strong>See: <\/strong>ETF focused on Jim Cramer stock picks surged in June, kicks off July with slight gains<\/p>\n<p>The Inverse Cramer ETF, as would be expected, fell sharply in June and early July, but is up 13.1% in the month to date.
