Investing.com \u2013 Germany stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.<\/p>\n

At the close in Frankfurt, the fell 0.01%, while the index fell 0.22%, and the index declined 0.65%.<\/p>\n

The best performers of the session on the were Rheinmetall <\/span><\/span> AG (ETR:), which rose 1.96% or 5.20 points to trade at 270.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Bayer AG <\/span><\/span> NA (ETR:) added 1.45% or 0.75 points to end at 52.37 and Brenntag AG <\/span><\/span> (ETR:) was up 1.16% or 0.78 points to 68.30 in late trade.<\/p>\n

The worst performers of the session were Siemens Energy AG <\/span><\/span> (ETR:), which fell 6.14% or 0.95 points to trade at 14.60 at the close. Commerzbank AG <\/span><\/span> O.N. (ETR:) declined 3.56% or 0.38 points to end at 10.30 and Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:) was down 2.94% or 10.70 points to 353.30.<\/p>\n

The top performers on the MDAX were Scout24 AG <\/span><\/span> (ETR:) which rose 5.35% to 61.00, CTS Eventim AG <\/span><\/span> (ETR:) which was up 5.26% to settle at 62.05 and Stroeer SE (ETR:) which gained 2.46% to close at 44.96.<\/p>\n

The worst performers were Aurubis AG <\/span><\/span> (ETR:) which was down 9.47% to 76.48 in late trade, Redcare Pharmacy NV (ETR:) which lost 3.65% to settle at 110.80 and Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG <\/span><\/span> (ETR:) which was down 2.58% to 1.83 at the close.<\/p>\n

The top performers on the TecDAX were Freenet <\/span><\/span> AG NA (ETR:) which rose 1.51% to 21.54, Hensoldt Ag <\/span><\/span> (ETR:) which was up 1.38% to settle at 30.90 and CompuGroup Medical AG <\/span><\/span> O.N. (ETR:) which gained 1.23% to close at 46.20.<\/p>\n

The worst performers were ADTRAN Holdingsa Inc (ETR:) which was down 19.48% to 6.52 in late trade, Morphosys <\/span><\/span> AG O.N. (ETR:) which lost 3.36% to settle at 27.03 and Nagarro SE <\/span><\/span> (ETR:) which was down 3.28% to 85.55 at the close.<\/p>\n

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 404 to 263 and 79 ended unchanged.<\/p>\n

Shares in Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG (ETR:) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.58% or 0.05 to 1.83. Shares in ADTRAN Holdingsa Inc (ETR:) fell to all time lows; falling 19.48% or 1.58 to 6.52. <\/p>\n

The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 0.67% to 18.00.<\/p>\n

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.35% or 6.85 to $1,969.25 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.72% or 0.60 to hit $82.22 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 0.73% or 0.63 to trade at $85.61 a barrel.<\/p>\n

EUR\/USD was unchanged 0.11% to 1.10, while EUR\/GBP unchanged 0.34% to 0.86.<\/p>\n

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 101.93.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
