Elon Musk says that his cage fight with Mark Zuckerberg is on, and will be streamed on X, the social media platform he owns that was formerly known as Twitter.<\/p>\n

Musk said in June the two should have a cage fight.

\n CEO Zuckerberg appeared to agree by asking for a location for the event. An actual date, time, and setting for such a battle of the billionaires has yet to be fully established.<\/p>\n

But Musk posted on Sunday that the meeting, assuming it does happen, will be carried live. \u201cZuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on X,\u201d he said. \u201cAll proceeds will go to charity for veterans.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zuckerberg\u2019s cheeky response over his Threads social media platform: \u201cShouldn\u2019t we use a more reliable platform that can actually raise money for charity?\u201d <\/p>\n

Musk told his 151.9 million X followers he has been lifting weights \u201cthroughout the day\u201d in anticipation of the match, adding: \u201cDon\u2019t have time to work out, so I just bring them to work.\u201d <\/p>\n

On Sunday, Zuckerberg said: \u201cI\u2019m ready today. I suggested Aug 26 when he first challenged, but he hasn\u2019t confirmed. Not holding my breath.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zuckerberg earlier this year shared that he had completed his first jiu jitsu martial arts tournament.<\/p>\n

Asked if the idea of a cage fight were to motivate himself to work out, Musk told a follower: \u201cIt\u2019s a civilized form of war. Men love war.\u201d<\/p>\n

In July, Meta started the rival microblogging site Threads, something Musk has been mocking. Threads would be Meta\u2019s latest social media platform, alongside Facebook and Instagram, and the messaging app WhatsApp. The
\n Tesla
\n CEO said the world was becoming \u201cexclusively under Zuck\u2019s thumb with no other options.\u201d <\/p>\n

In addition to owning X and running Tesla, Musk\u2019s business interests include the commercial space company SpaceX, the tunneling firm Boring Company, and artificial intelligence developer xAI.<\/p>\n

Threads racked up 100 million users faster than ChatGPT, TikTok, and Instagram. Musk has said X has lost half of its advertising revenue and hasn\u2019t returned to positive cash flow as quickly as he thought it would.<\/p>\n

Also on X this weekend, Musk offered to pay the legal fees with \u201cno limit\u201d for anyone unfairly treated by an employer for something they posted or liked on X. He didn\u2019t offer details about how to claim such legal aid.<\/p>\n
