Yields move in the opposite direction to prices.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n      The yield on the 10-year Treasury<br \/>\n        TMUBMUSD10Y,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.000%\" channel=\"\" class=\"\">3.871%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       was 3.88%, up 1.1 basis points.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n      The yield on the 30-year Treasury<br \/>\n        TMUBMUSD30Y,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.000%\" channel=\"\" class=\"\">3.949%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       was 3.95%, up 1.3 basis points.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What\u2019s driving markets<\/h2>\n<p>On Wednesday, the Fed took rates to a range between 5.25% and 5.5% that financial markets expect to be the peak of the cycle.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n<p>\u201cMy summation would be that the Federal Reserve should be done, but we still need to keep an eye on rekindling energy and commodity prices, as well as that core inflation number,\u201d said Clifford Bennett, chief economist at ACY Securities.<\/p>\n<p>David Mericle, an economist at Goldman Sachs, says the Fed is done. \u201c[Chair Jerome] Powell said that the FOMC will be particularly focused on the inflation data, and we expect the next few CPI reports to be soft.
