Investing.com \u2013 France stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.<\/p>\n

At the close in Paris, the declined 0.16%, while the index declined 0.02%.<\/p>\n

The best performers of the session on the were ArcelorMittal SA (AS:), which rose 2.40% or 0.61 points to trade at 25.82 at the close. Meanwhile, STMicroelectronics NV (EPA:) added 2.22% or 1.01 points to end at 46.69 and Publicis Groupe <\/span><\/span> SA (EPA:) was up 1.35% or 0.94 points to 70.82 in late trade.<\/p>\n

The worst performers of the session were Dassault Systemes SE (EPA:), which fell 4.96% or 1.99 points to trade at 38.05 at the close. Airbus Group SE (EPA:) declined 2.30% or 3.14 points to end at 133.22 and Alstom <\/span><\/span> SA (EPA:) was down 1.86% or 0.51 points to 26.91.<\/p>\n

The top performers on the SBF 120 were Remy Cointreau <\/span><\/span> (EPA:) which rose 4.19% to 151.65, Orpea <\/span><\/span> SA (EPA:) which was up 3.38% to settle at 1.88 and Eramet <\/span><\/span> SA (EPA:) which gained 3.04% to close at 89.85.<\/p>\n

The worst performers were Elior <\/span><\/span> Group (EPA:) which was down 12.20% to 2.49 in late trade, Casino <\/span><\/span> Guichard Perrachon SA (EPA:) which lost 8.59% to settle at 3.11 and Compagnie Plastic Omnium <\/span><\/span> SE (EPA:) which was down 5.81% to 18.01 at the close.<\/p>\n

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 284 to 226 and 112 ended unchanged.<\/p>\n

The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.<\/p>\n

Gold Futures for August delivery was up 0.08% or 1.65 to $1,963.85 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 0.90% or 0.71 to hit $79.45 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract rose 0.67% or 0.55 to trade at $83.03 a barrel.<\/p>\n

EUR\/USD was unchanged 0.18% to 1.10, while EUR\/GBP fell 0.60% to 0.86.<\/p>\n

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 101.13.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
