Stock futures were up slightly Monday\u00a0ahead of a week filled with interest-rate decisions from the Federal Reserve and European Central Bank, and earnings from more than 150 companies in the
\n S&P 500,<\/span>
\n including tech giants
\n Microsoft,<\/span><\/p>\n

Alphabet,<\/span>
\n and
\n Meta Platforms.<\/span>\n <\/p>\n

These stocks were poised to make moves Monday:\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n

Shares of
\n AMC Entertainment
\n (
\n AMC
\n ) were jumping 53% in premarket trading after the movie-theater chain filed a revised stock conversion proposal after a judge blocked the company\u2019s plan to convert its so-called APE shares into common stock. If the court agrees with the plan, AMC hopes to implement the plan \u201cas soon as possible,\u201d CEO Adam Aron said on Twitter over the weekend. The APE shares were down 1.1%. <\/p>\n

\n Chevron
\n (CVX) released a second-quarter performance update on Sunday that was better than analysts\u2019 expectations. Adjusted profit of $3.08 a share topped consensus of $2.97. A year earlier,
\n Chevron
\n reported adjusted earnings of $5.82 a share. The major oil company is scheduled to report quarterly earnings on Friday. Chevron also announced that it was waiving its mandatory retirement age of 65 for CEO Mike Wirth, who will turn 63 later this year. The stock was up 0.6% in premarket trading.<\/p>\n

\n Tesla
\n (TSLA) was falling 1.1% to $257.08 after shares of the electric-vehicle maker were downgraded to Neutral from Buy at UBS. The analysts, however, raised the price target on the stock to $270 from $220.\u00a0\u201cWe think after the strong recent share performance, it is fully reflected that
\n Tesla
\n \u2018s price cut strategy has
worked out well (solid demand response, only moderate decline in margins), while multiples have become more demanding \u2026 With a 12-month view, we\u2019re downgrading TSLA to Neutral, but we continue to see a significant long-term opportunity in the stock.\u201d Tesla stock has risen 111% this year.<\/p>\n

\n Becton Dickinson
\n (BDX) was rising 7.2% after its updated BD Alaris Infusion System received 510(k) clearance from the Food and Drug Administration. The stock also was upgraded to Outperform from Market Perform at Raymond James.<\/p>\n

\n Domino\u2019s Pizza
\n (DPZ) reported second-quarter earnings that beat analysts\u2019 estimates but revenue that missed, and the stock was down 4% in premarket trading.<\/p>\n

After markets close Monday, earnings reports are expected from
\n NXP Semiconductors
\n (NXPI),
\n Logitech International
\n (LOGI),
\n F5
\n (FFIV),
\n Cleveland-Cliffs
\n (CLF), and
\n Whirlpool
\n (WHR).<\/p>\n

Reports are expected later in the week from tech giants
\n Microsoft
\n (MSFT),
\n Alphabet
\n (GOOGL), and
\n Meta Platforms
\n (META).<\/p>\n
