Investing.com — Las Vegas Sands <\/span><\/span> reported Wednesday second-quarter results that topped Wall Street estimates and\u00a0reinstated its dividend as performance was boosted by an ongoing recovery in spending in Macao\u00a0and\u00a0Singapore following the pandemic lull.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Las Vegas Sands Corp (NYSE:) fell more than 2% following the report.<\/p>\n

The casino operator reported of $0.46 on revenue of $2.54 billion, topping estimates of $0.43 on revenue of $2.39B.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The better-than-expected results come as the company saw a “robust recovery in travel and tourism spending underway in both\u00a0Macao\u00a0and\u00a0Singapore\u00a0progress during the quarter.”<\/p>\n

The company\u00a0reinstated its quarterly dividend at $0.20 per share.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
