The Lyriq\u2019s appeal begins with an almost suspiciously strong mix of range, charging, power and pricing figures. But after driving it a couple weeks you realize the numbers are just half the story. The Lyriq is smooth and responsive around town, comfortable and controlled on the highway, and has a stylish, roomy, feature-filled interior. Oh, and it can all but drive itself with the excellent\u00a0Super Cruise\u00a0system.<\/p>\n
GM\u2019s The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq starts at $57,195. The mid-range Luxury trim begins at $61,295, and the top Sport model starts at $61,795. In addition to the Luxury trim, the affordable Tech trim and stylish Sport trim join the lineup. The Lyriq Tech is value-oriented with a nice list of standard features and a sub-$60k starting price, while the Sport model is primarily an appearance package in addition to what comes with the Luxury trim.<\/p>\n The expanded model range also comes with several new wheel and paint options, plus new interior and tech options like a Nappa Leather Package, tri-zone climate control, heated rear seats, a panoramic power sunroof, adaptive headlights, and more.<\/p>\n From the archives (Sept. 2021):<\/strong> This new Cadillac model sold out in about 10 minutes<\/p>\n Even single-motor, rear-drive Lyriq models have 340 horsepower and can scoot to 60 mph in just under six seconds. Thanks to the long wheelbase and the battery packaged into the floor, we found the passenger space generous in both rows of seats. A fixed-glass roof is standard, adding to the airiness of the interior, and a panoramic power-opening sunroof is optional.<\/p>\n The focal point of this interior is the 33-inch display, capable of emitting more than one billion colors. We found the Google-based interface user-friendly, and it\u2019s packed with features like wireless Android Auto and Apple The cargo space in the Lyriq is about average for a midsize SUV, but we wish it had a front trunk like some of its electric rivals. The sleek, sloping roofline and unique light signature make it look not quite like anything else on the road. The Super Cruise hands-free driving system is one of the most advanced semi-autonomous driving aids on the market.
