After years of delays, Tesla Inc.\u2019s first Cybertruck rolled off the assembly line Saturday in Austin, Texas.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst Cybertruck built at Giga Texas!\u201d the electric-vehicle maker tweeted Saturday<\/a>. \u201cCongrats Tesla Team!,\u201d Chief Executive Elon Musk replied<\/a> on Twitter.<\/p>\n

A prototype of the angular, futuristic-looking pickup was unveiled by Musk in 2019, but production was repeatedly delayed due to what Tesla said were supply-chain issues.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Musk said the first Cybertrucks would be made this year, with volume production starting in 2024.<\/p>\n

The Cybertruck will be Tesla\u2019s biggest new-vehicle launch since the Model 3 in 2017, and analysts have high expectations that it will help to significantly boost sales.<\/p>\n

Wall Street expects fewer than 10,000 Cybertruck deliveries this year, according to Barron\u2019s, but closer to 100,000 in 2024.<\/p>\n
