However, that\u2019s rapidly changing and will likely change even more quickly over the coming years. New EVs are introduced to the market every year, many at more affordable prices. It\u2019s true, there are still plenty of pricey EVs coming out next year. However, we\u2019ve kept this list focused on mainstream models due to arrive in calendar year 2024, excluding limited-production models and supercars, to make it as relevant to you, the new EV shopper, as possible.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Without further ado, here are the electric cars, trucks, and SUVs coming to the U.S. market in 2024 and beyond.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>2024 Acura ZDX<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div data-layout=\"inline\n                \" data-layout-mobile=\"\" class=\"\n          media-object\n          type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            inline\n  article__inset\n          article__inset--type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            article__inset--inline\n  \"><\/p>\n<figure class=\"\n        media-object-image\n        enlarge-image\n        img-inline\n        article__inset__image\n      \" itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/ImageObject\"><\/p>\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<p>Acura\u2019s first-ever all-electric vehicle is due next year in the form of the\u00a02024 Acura ZDX. Expected to start around $60,000, the ZDX EV shares its architecture with the Ultium-based\u00a0Cadillac Lyriq. Therefore, it should offer a similar maximum range of about 312 miles. Power output should also be similar to the Lyriq, with single-motor models rated around 340 horsepower and dual-motor models capable of up to 500 horsepower.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>2025 Buick Electra<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div data-layout=\"inline\n                \" data-layout-mobile=\"\" class=\"\n          media-object\n          type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            inline\n  article__inset\n          article__inset--type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            article__inset--inline\n  \"><\/p>\n<figure class=\"\n        media-object-image\n        enlarge-image\n        img-inline\n        article__inset__image\n      \" itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/ImageObject\"><\/p>\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<p>The Electra name was previously used for a line of Buick sedans from 1959 to 1990. The\u00a02025 Buick Electra\u00a0is expected to arrive as an electric SUV with seating for five and an architecture also based on GM\u2019s<br \/>\n        GM,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/205226835\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+0.08%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       Ultium platform. That translates to similar range and power outputs as the ZDX and Lyriq, though perhaps without the high-performance dual-motor variants. In fact, it may only be dawning, as battery packs and electric motors free big-horsepower vehicles from their smoggy shackles. This will allow power outputs to approach and possibly eclipse even Hellcat levels. The\u00a02025 Dodge Charger Daytona SRT\u00a0aims to accomplish much of that, at any rate, judging by the concept shown at the 2022 Specialty Equipment Market Association meet. The Daytona SRT concept is said to offer three power levels: 456 horsepower, 590 horsepower, and an even more powerful Banshee variant. However, the model that\u2019s making an electric return to our shores will be all-new. It will arrive in early 2024 with an emphasis on style, fashion, and sustainable mobility. The Pear\u2019s specs and features are still under wraps, but we do know this 5-seater will be just a bit under 15 feet long and it will offer updatable technology. Fun fact: PEAR stands for Personal Electric Automotive Revolution.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>2024 GMC Sierra EV<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div data-layout=\"inline\n                \" data-layout-mobile=\"\" class=\"\n          media-object\n          type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            inline\n  article__inset\n          article__inset--type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            article__inset--inline\n  \"><\/p>\n<figure class=\"\n        media-object-image\n        enlarge-image\n        img-inline\n        article__inset__image\n      \" itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/ImageObject\"><\/p>\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<p>The\u00a02024 GMC Sierra EV\u00a0is due to arrive in early 2024 at an eye-watering starting price of $107,000. But that hefty price includes substantial capabilities. The Sierra EV is estimated to get up to 400 miles of charge, provide up to 754 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque, and accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds. And that\u2019s all while being able to tow up to 9,500 pounds and offer Super Cruise drive-assistance tech. Expect a choice of single- or dual-motor powertrains, a maximum range of around 300 miles, and a host of familiar Honda details inside and out. It\u2019s also set to be Honda\u2019s first full-production pure electric vehicle in North America. The Prologue is expected to arrive in early 2024.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>2024 Jeep Recon<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div data-layout=\"inline\n                \" data-layout-mobile=\"\" class=\"\n          media-object\n          type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            inline\n  article__inset\n          article__inset--type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            article__inset--inline\n  \"><\/p>\n<figure class=\"\n        media-object-image\n        enlarge-image\n        img-inline\n        article__inset__image\n      \" itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/ImageObject\"><\/p>\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<p>Originally expected to arrive in the 2023 calendar year, the\u00a0Jeep Recon\u00a0will now be a 2024 arrival. We expect pricing to start around $60,000. The Recon will be \u201cinspired by the Wrangler,\u201d the brand\u2019s legendary off-roader, according to Jeep. What that means remains to be seen. We expect a midsize SUV similar in size to the 4-door Wrangler Unlimited.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>2024 Jeep Wagoneer S<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div data-layout=\"inline\n                \" data-layout-mobile=\"\" class=\"\n          media-object\n          type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            inline\n  article__inset\n          article__inset--type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            article__inset--inline\n  \"><\/p>\n<figure class=\"\n        media-object-image\n        enlarge-image\n        img-inline\n        article__inset__image\n      \" itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/ImageObject\"><\/p>\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<p>The\u00a02024 Jeep Wagoneer S\u00a0\u2014 or whatever it may be called in production \u2014 is the pavement-scorching companion to the off-road-focused Recon. It has a planned 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds, faster than the already blistering Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Jeep is also aiming for a 400-mile range for the Wagoneer S. The\u00a02024 Lucid Gravity\u00a0is the 3-row SUV counterpart to the Air. It brings an armada of technology and all the luxury it can muster to the rapidly expanding electric SUV class. Expect the Gravity to start around $100,000. It may come standard in an all-wheel-drive, dual-motor version. Upgrades could include a tri-motor powertrain generating more than 1,200 horsepower, a max range of over 400 miles, and fantastically quick acceleration and charging.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>2024 Polestar 5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div data-layout=\"inline\n                \" data-layout-mobile=\"\" class=\"\n          media-object\n          type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            inline\n  article__inset\n          article__inset--type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            article__inset--inline\n  \"><\/p>\n<figure class=\"\n        media-object-image\n        enlarge-image\n        img-inline\n        article__inset__image\n      \" itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/ImageObject\"><\/p>\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<p>The\u00a02024 Polestar 5<br \/>\n        PSNY,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/226726518\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+3.34%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n      \u00a0will be based on the elegant Polestar Precept concept car from the 2020 Geneva Auto Show. With an estimated starting price of around $100,000, the Polestar 5 will compete with the likes of the Porsche<br \/>\n        POAHY,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/208338327\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-0.18%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       Taycan, Lucid Air, and Tesla<br \/>\n        TSLA,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/203558040\/lastsale\" class=\"negative\">-1.76%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       Model S. Few solid details on the Polestar 5 have been released as yet. It\u2019s expected to be chock-full of Google-based infotainment tech and sustainable interior materials.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>2024 Porsche Macan EV<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div data-layout=\"inline\n                \" data-layout-mobile=\"\" class=\"\n          media-object\n          type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            inline\n  article__inset\n          article__inset--type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            article__inset--inline\n  \"><\/p>\n<figure class=\"\n        media-object-image\n        enlarge-image\n        img-inline\n        article__inset__image\n      \" itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/ImageObject\"><\/p>\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<p>The\u00a02024 Porsche Macan EV\u00a0is coming. If Porsche has its way, it\u2019s bound to be a big upgrade for the performance of the midsize SUV segment. It sports a 169-horsepower boost over the combustion-powered Macan, which currently maxes out at 434 horsepower in the turbocharged Macan GTS. The upcoming Macan EV also promises excellent handling as well as dynamic performance.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>2025 Ram 1500 REV<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div data-layout=\"inline\n                \" data-layout-mobile=\"\" class=\"\n          media-object\n          type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            inline\n  article__inset\n          article__inset--type-InsetMediaIllustration\n            article__inset--inline\n  \"><\/p>\n<figure class=\"\n        media-object-image\n        enlarge-image\n        img-inline\n        article__inset__image\n      \" itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/ImageObject\"><\/p>\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<p>Not due until the end of 2024, the\u00a02025 Ram 1500 REV\u00a0will be the last of the major American pickups to join the all-electric fray. It\u2019s expected to start at about $58,000, with fully equipped models likely rising above the $100,000 mark. Dodge says the Ram 1500 REV targets a maximum range of 500 miles, with a standard range of 350. The 1500 REV won\u2019t be giving up much in ability, either. For 2024, it plans to follow up with the\u00a0subcompact VF6\u00a0and the\u00a0compact VF7. These new electric SUVs slot in below the larger models already launched. The VF6 is expected to start around $30,000 and the VF7 is expected to start from around $37,000. The German-built ID.7 is expected to arrive in the U.S. in the second half of 2024. It should arrive first with a single-motor variant, and later with a dual-motor model that includes a larger 350-mile battery pack and AWD. The ID.7 shares its architecture with the ID.4 and the upcoming ID.Buzz electric microbus. The ID. Buzz is likely to offer a single motor, rear-wheel drive, and about 275 miles of range in base form, with dual motors and AWD also available. The ID. Starting from just $34,950, the EX30 will also be the brand\u2019s least expensive EV while still offering a range of up to 275 miles and a host of driver-assist technologies. It has three rows of seats, room for three golf bags behind the third row, and a slightly larger overall size than the current XC90. Despite the similar size and name, the EX90 is based on the same architecture as the Polestar 3.
