The market fear barometer  spiked 9.1% to 11.78 levels in the session.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Gains across the domestic market were led by banking and financial packs, led by an up to 3% jump in HDFC twins, while <span itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/Corporation\"><span itemprop=\"name\"> <span itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/Corporation\"><span itemprop=\"name\"> JSW Steel <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span> (NS:) and <span itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/Corporation\"><span itemprop=\"name\"> <span itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/Corporation\"><span itemprop=\"name\"> UltraTech Cement <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span> (NS:) supported the Nifty index.
