The report didn\u2019t say how many jobs will be affected, but they are expected to focus on Ford\u2019s gas-engine vehicle unit as well as those making electric vehicles and software.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n<p>Ford (ticker: F) shares slipped 0.6% in premarket trading Friday to $14.11. They\u2019re up 22% this year. The company announced plans to cut $3 billion in annual costs by the middle of the decade.
