{"id":19442,"date":"2023-06-07T11:40:05","date_gmt":"2023-06-07T15:40:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ifintechworld.com\/investing\/nrx-pharmaceuticals-shares-drop-19-after-direct-offering-prices\/"},"modified":"2023-06-07T11:40:06","modified_gmt":"2023-06-07T15:40:06","slug":"nrx-pharmaceuticals-shares-drop-19-after-direct-offering-prices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ifintechworld.com\/?p=19442","title":{"rendered":"NRx Pharmaceuticals Shares Drop 19% After Direct Offering Prices"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"js-article__body\" itemprop=\"articleBody\" data-sbid=\"MW-BT-CO-20230606-706295\" role=\"document\">\n<p>By Chris Wack<\/p>\n<pre><\/pre>\n<p>NRx Pharmaceuticals shares were down 19%, to 53 cents, after the clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company said it has entered into definitive agreements for the purchase and sale of 9.7 million shares at 65 cents a share in a registered direct offering.<\/p>\n<p>The stock closed Monday&#8217;s session down 27%, and is down 17% in the past 12 months.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n<p>In a concurrent private placement, NRx Pharmaceuticalssaid it would issue unregistered warrants to buy up to 9.7 million shares at an exercise price of 65.25 cents a share that will be exercisable six months following issuance for five years following the initial exercise date.<\/p>\n<p>The exercise price of the warrants is not subject to future price adjustment, other than for stock splits.
