{"id":18311,"date":"2023-06-05T08:14:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-05T12:14:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ifintechworld.com\/markets\/crypto\/crypto-analytics-firm-elliptic-incorporates-ai-to-speed-up-tracking-and-risk-detection-heres-the-latest\/"},"modified":"2023-06-05T08:14:01","modified_gmt":"2023-06-05T12:14:01","slug":"crypto-analytics-firm-elliptic-incorporates-ai-to-speed-up-tracking-and-risk-detection-heres-the-latest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ifintechworld.com\/?p=18311","title":{"rendered":"Crypto Analytics Firm Elliptic Incorporates AI to Speed up Tracking and Risk Detection \u2013 Here&#8217;s the Latest"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>UK-based crypto analytics and risk management firm Elliptic has incorporated the popular artificial intelligence (AI) chat bot ChatGPT into its work, with an aim to speed up the tracking of cybercriminals, the firm said in a recent press release.<\/p>\n<p>As one of the pioneers in the blockchain intelligence space, Elliptic leverages its proprietary dataset spanning over a decade, and says it can offer coverage of more than 97% of crypto transactions, as well as a large collection of crypto exchange risk profiles.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"media\"><oembed data-embedo-height=\"400\" data-embedo-url=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elliptic\/status\/1664561717739659264\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/oembed><\/figure>\n<p>According to the firm, the incorporation of ChatGPT, an AI-based so-called large language model (LLM), means its researchers and investigators can become vastly more efficient in synthesizing and organizing intelligence on new risk factors.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the company said that by harnessing the capabilities of ChatGPT, its team members can focus their efforts on improving accuracy and scalability, while the chat bot \u201ctakes care of organizing the data.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the new step for the company, CEO Simone Maini emphasized Elliptic\u2019s commitment to innovation, stating that incorporating ChatGPT into their toolkit aligns with their DNA of pushing boundaries in the field.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Elliptic\u2019s chief technology officer Jackson Hull noted the significance of scaling up intelligence for customers, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOur customers come to us to know exactly their risk exposure.
